Storage, memory and expansion for long-life platforms

Cervoz develops industrial storage, DRAM and modular expansion products for embedded computers and industrial PCs that require stable component availability, compatibility and environmental robustness.

The portfolio covers industrial SSD and embedded modules across SATA and PCIe/NVMe interfaces, DRAM modules, removable memory cards and MEC expansion cards in M.2, Mini PCIe and PCIe form factors.

Supported product families can include -40 °C to +85 °C operation, Powerguard power-loss protection, FlashMonitor health monitoring, AES encryption, conformal coating, anti-vibration fill, electrical isolation and MECFIX retention.

Technical selection

Select by host interface, environment and I/O requirement

Storage interface & endurance

Confirm SATA or PCIe/NVMe interface, keying, capacity, NAND/endurance requirement, DRAM-buffer architecture and power-loss behaviour.

Temperature & protection

Check whether standard or -40 °C to +85 °C operation is required and whether conformal coating, anti-vibration fill or other protection options are needed.

Expansion form factor

Verify M.2 key and length, Mini PCIe or PCIe slot compatibility, available lanes, connector access and chassis space before selecting an MEC module.

Drivers, isolation & integration

Confirm operating-system driver support, port isolation, controller chipset and any required retention hardware for Ethernet, CAN, serial or other expansion functions.

Industrial storage & memory

Cervoz provides industrial SSD, DRAM and removable storage families for embedded platforms that require compatibility, controlled lifecycle and environmental robustness.

Industrial SSD

2.5-inch SATA, U.3, M.2 and other industrial solid-state storage formats across legacy and mainstream interfaces.

Industrial DRAM Module

DIMM, VLP DIMM, SO-DIMM and VLP SO-DIMM families across current and established DDR generations.

Industrial Memory Card

CompactFlash, CFast, SD and microSD product families for embedded, removable and legacy storage requirements.

Applications

Integration areas for industrial computing

Embedded & fanless computers

Match SSD, DRAM and expansion modules to motherboard sockets, thermal limits, available PCIe lanes and operating-system support in compact industrial platforms.

Industrial automation

Use qualified memory, storage and communication expansion in machine controllers, vision systems, gateways and edge computers operating under continuous duty.

Communication expansion

Add Ethernet, serial, CAN Bus, USB or wireless functions through supported M.2, Mini PCIe or PCIe modules, with isolation where the selected card provides it.

Rugged & wide-temperature systems

Select wide-temperature, conformal-coated or anti-vibration options for outdoor, transport and harsh industrial platforms where environmental margins are critical.

Technical FAQ

Cervoz technical FAQs

Does Cervoz provide wide-temperature SSD and DRAM?

Yes. Selected Cervoz SSD, embedded-flash and DRAM families support -40 °C to +85 °C operation. Availability depends on the exact family and capacity.

What is Powerguard used for?

On supported products, Powerguard is a power-loss-protection function intended to reduce data-integrity risk during unexpected power interruption. It should be verified on the exact selected model.

What is Cervoz FlashMonitor?

FlashMonitor is used with supported Cervoz flash products to monitor storage-health information such as operating condition and lifetime-related parameters.

Can Cervoz expansion cards add CAN or Ethernet to an industrial PC?

Yes. The MEC portfolio includes M.2, Mini PCIe and PCIe expansion products for functions such as Ethernet, CAN Bus, serial, USB and other interfaces.

Why is connector keying important for M.2 modules?

M.2 length and keying determine mechanical and electrical compatibility. A module with the wrong key, lane allocation or host interface may physically or electrically be incompatible.

Can Primionics review an existing industrial PC before proposing a Cervoz module?

Yes. The host motherboard, socket/keying, PCIe or SATA interface, operating system, temperature, I/O requirement and mechanical constraints can be reviewed before selection.
