Field Application Engineer

About the role

As a Field Application Engineer at Primionics, you'll be the technical interface between our customers and our technology partner portfolio — spanning filtration instrumentation (Topas, Kanomax), industrial computing (Estone, Cervoz, iWave), test & measurement (Pico Technology), automation (CODESYS), and embedded software tools (Parasoft, wolfSSL, Verum).

You'll work directly with engineering teams — understanding their application needs, demonstrating products, supporting evaluation, commissioning instruments, and ensuring adoption succeeds in real operating environments. This is a genuine engineering role that requires technical credibility with customer engineers, not just product knowledge.

Training is provided across all product lines at joining and continuously throughout employment.

What you'll do

• Technical pre-sales support — product demonstrations, evaluation support, and application feasibility assessment for customer engineering teams
• Customer onboarding — instrument installation, commissioning, workflow setup, and handover to customer engineers
• Post-sales technical support across all Primionics product lines — handling Level 1 support and coordinating escalations with global partner teams
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, application notes, and proposals for new and existing customers
• Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and partner events representing Primionics
• Identify new application opportunities and customer needs within existing accounts
• Work closely with global technology partners on technical training, product updates, and partner escalations

What we're looking for

• BE/BTech in Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline
• 0–5 years experience — strong fresher candidates with solid engineering fundamentals are genuinely welcome
• Willingness to travel across India (approximately 30–40% of time) for customer visits and product demonstrations
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English — ability to explain technical concepts to engineers at different levels
• Curiosity and ability to learn across multiple technical domains quickly — no single domain expertise required at joining
• Exposure to lab instruments, embedded systems, industrial software, or cleanroom environments is advantageous but not mandatory
