Key Features
ISO 21501-4 compliant — 0.3 µm minimum
The optical sensor meets ISO 21501-4 single-particle optical sizing requirements. manufacturer calibration certificate supplied as standard — satisfying regulatory requirements for calibrated instruments used in pharmaceutical, medical device and semiconductor cleanroom classification.
Model-specific channels at 2.83 L/min
Model 3888 displays 0.3, 0.5 and 5.0 µm; Model 3889 displays 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0 and 10.0 µm. Sampling time and applicability must be checked against the required sample volume and procedure.
Optional stand for network connectivity
The optional stand provides RS485, Ethernet and WiFi connection points in the base for remote operation and data transfer. Confirm the required interface and accessory configuration before ordering.
Temperature and humidity option on the 3889
The 6-channel Model 3889 can be ordered with temperature and humidity measurement (±0.5 °C, ±3.0% RH between 30 and 85% RH), recording environmental conditions alongside particle counts. This function is an option and is not available on the 3-channel Model 3888.
Up to 10,000 CSV records on internal memory
Internal memory stores time-stamped sample records. Multiple sampling locations, sample IDs and dates can be managed on-device for cleanroom classification campaigns across multiple rooms. Records export in CSV format over USB for PC analysis.
Replaceable rechargeable battery
The replaceable lithium-ion battery supports approximately five hours of single-measurement operation according to current manufacturer specifications.
